Our Team
Our team consists of Patrick Park and two associate solicitors Anna McVeigh and Emma Murphy, along with highly trained support staff, who are all fully committed to providing a courteous, friendly and above all professional service.
With special interests in Personal Injury, Employment, Property and Commercial law we have an expanding and well established Litigation and Matrimonial department.
Patrick Park LL.B (QUB), LL.M (YALE)
Patrick Park graduated from the Queen’s University Belfast in 1979, where he was awarded the Law Society Prize in 1979 and shared the Lord Chief Justice’s Prize in 1978. After qualifying as a solicitor in 1980, he was awarded a Fellowship by Yale Law School and obtained a Master of Laws Degree there in 1981. He worked as an assistant solicitor for two years and then established his own law firm in 1983. During the early years of practice, Patrick also lectured in Company Law on a part-time basis for the Law Society of Northern Ireland and the Queen’s University of Belfast.
Patrick has obtained extensive experience in all areas of law since establishing his own business. As well as being a sole practitioner in Lurgan, he helped to establish a solicitor’s practice in Banbridge, where he was a partner for five years. He has acquired extensive business experience over the years and was a non-executive director of a large private company in Northern Ireland for eighteen years. Patrick has a particular interest in commercial law, administration of estates, property law and personal injury litigation.
Anna McVeigh BA
Anna McVeigh graduated in 1985 and attended the Institute of Professional Legal Studies at Queen’s University Belfast. Since being called to the Roll of Solicitors in 1988, Anna has worked continuously in private practice, joining Patrick Park Solicitors in 2000. With extensive experience in general practice, Anna has developed special interests in employment law and domestic conveyancing.
Emma Murphy LL.B
Emma Murphy graduated from Queens University in 2003. Having attended the Institute of Professional Legal Studies she completed her apprenticeship with Patrick Park and was called to the Roll of Solicitors in 2005.
Emma has special interests in litigation, criminal and matrimonial law.
Emma is a member of the Children Order Panel NI.
